God answers prayers, my friends, oh yes He does. For one thing, the girls and my mom and I made it safely and (perhaps more importantly) sanely across Nevada with a minimum of freak-outs. For another thing, Lizzy is getting more used to Maren all the time. I think she might even be starting to like her a little.

I’m glad you made it safely there! I can imagine the stress of having a little toddler to keep occupied, as well as having to stop every couple hours to feed the babe. You amaze me Amanda! Bless your momma’s soul! I’m sure you were glad she was there to help you out. Love that picture of Lizzy and Maren!

that is SOOO cute! i love the contrast in their coloring – it would be cool if maren kept that dark hair!
you’ll be happy to know that cody is finally happy and healthy on his daily regimen of prevacid, reglan, and 2/3 breast milk + 1/3 soy formula.

Don’t worry, it’s only taken Caleb two months to get used to his little sister, and his freak out was BAD when we first brought her home. Glad things went smoothly on your drive!

So glad that you arrived safely and that the girls are doing well. I am bummed again today that we are no longer at Ft. Jackson for I could have seeked Richard out at fireworks tonight. Last year all the BCT groups marched by and sat out in the field in front of us. Uh, another reason I am bummed that we are no longer there….

    Sure love ya!

Hooray! We’re happy that your journey went well. Jan and I were wondering about you last night as we were watching the fireworks.

Super sweet picture. I love Lizzy’s little jumper! You will be proud of me – I sewed this week! I made some curtains for miss’ room, and an apron for my sis-in-law. =) I thought of you the whole time.
